MOMMY, ME, & PONY!

A 1.5 hour introductory class involving a parent (aunt, uncle, grandparent, etc…) and their child learning the basics of horse care, safety, and riding!

If your toddler loves horses and would like to learn more about them, this class is for you. It is a great bonding experience where adults and children learn together how to take care of a pony.

Do not be discouraged if you do not know “horses”. Feel comfortable knowing you will learn, with all of the other adults just how to assist your little horseman. You will aide your child in grooming, tacking up, and also leading them on his/her pony while they ride!

Participitants will learn how to:

Be safe around the barn & horses

Groom a horse

Feed and care for a horse

Tack up (saddle & bridle) a horse

Ride in the ring and on trails

and much more!

Class will meet:

Thursday’s — 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.

6 Week Program: $175

Class geared towards preschool and a.m. kindergarten children who have minimal or no experience around horses.
